Mexican Copper, Zinc and Silver Output Falls in March

National Statistics Institute data show Mexico’s copper output fell 3.7% year-on-year to 39,760 tonnes in March.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 1 (SMM) - National Statistics Institute data show Mexico’s copper output fell 3.7% year-on-year to 39,760 tonnes in March, wenhua.com reports. The country’s silver output declined 2.8% year-on-year to 435,870 kg.

Zinc production was 31,800 tonnes in March, down 10.9% year-on-year, and lead output decreased 14.1% year-on-year to 16,949 tonnes.

Gold output in the country was 10,046 kg, a fall of 9.2% year-on-year.
