SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 69,090/mt overnight and once advanced to RMB 69,880/mt before closing at RMB 69,630/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 18 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 nickel started at RMB 69,090/mt overnight and once advanced to RMB 69,880/mt before closing at RMB 69,630/mt.

SHFE 1609 nickel opened at RMB 69,590/mt on Wednesday and then moved lower to RMB 68,440/mt before ending at RMB 68,600/mt, down 1.17%. Trading volumes were up 118,000 to 807,000 lots and positions fell 24,516 to 619,000.
