SHANGHAI, May 3 (SMM) – SHFE 1606 lead started at RMB 13,245/mt on Tuesday and then ranged around RMB 13,250/mt. In the afternoon business, the contract moved higher to RMB 13,370/mt due to firmer Japanese yen and weaker dollar and closed at RMB 13,365/mt, up by RMB 210/mt or 1.6%. Trading volumes were 6,482 lots and positions reduced 640 to 15,834.
