LME and SHFE Copper to See Rising Volatility

LME copper should fluctuate in a wide range of $4,880-5,080 per tonne next week, said SMM, testing $5,130 per tonne, citing technical indicators.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 22 (SMM) - LME copper should fluctuate in a wide range of $4,680-4,850 per tonne next week, said SMM, citing technical indicators.

June copper on the SHFE will hover between 36,400-37,500 yuan per tonne, SMM added, tracking ferrous metals. Ferrous metals will lead price gains of commodities in the near term.

Spot discounts will expand to 180-130 yuan per tonne against June copper on the SHFE.
