SHANGHAI, Feb. 1 (SMM) – Last week, nickel ore inventories at China’s major ports were continuing falling, SMM survey found.

“The drop in ore inventories was mainly because of few arrivals of new shipments, and pre-holiday pick-ups,” SMM nickel analyst points out.

Nickel ore inventories at six major Chinese ports totaled 8.64 million tonnes last week, down 200,000 tonnes on a weekly basis, according to SMM data.
