SHFE Nickel Sees a Loss of 1.56% (Dec. 28, 2015)

SHANGHAI, Dec. 28 (SMM) – SHFE 1605 nickel fluctuated between RMB 69,000-69,300/mt after opening last Friday night session at RMB 69,280/mt with closing price at RMB 69,300/mt.

SHFE nickel started at RMB 69,300/mt for day trading Monday and dropped below RMB 69,000/mt due to growing shorts with LME staying closed. The contract fell further before ending at RMB 68,050/mt, down 1.56%. Trading volumes were down 57,822 to 623,000 lots while positions increased 30,504 to 478,000.
