SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,160/mt Thursday evening, and edged up to RMB 13,200/mt, and closed at RMB 13,250/mt, up RMB 220/mt.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 27 (SMM) – SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,160/mt Thursday evening, and edged up to RMB 13,200/mt, and closed at RMB 13,250/mt, up RMB 220/mt. Trading volumes on SHFE 1602 zinc contracts were 181,000 lots, and total positions increased 3,836 to 175,000.

SHFE 1602 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 13,250/mt, and edged down to RMB 12,900/mt as profit at Chinese large industrials fell more sharply in October, and closed the day at RMB 12,960/mt, down RMB 70/mt or 2.58%. Trading volumes of SHFE 1602 zinc contracts decreased 54,000 to 528,000 lots, with total positions were up 6,896 to 178,000.
