North American Aluminum scrap prices drop on Index Nov. 24

The daily North American aluminum scrap prices dropped on Tuesday, 24th November.

SPOKANE (Scrap Monster): The North American Aluminum scrap prices declined on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on November 24th, Tuesday.

1100 Scrap and 3003 Scrap prices dropped by $0.02 per Lb each on Index. A down move of $0.02 per Lb was witnessed in 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6061 Extrusions. 5052 Scrap prices too dropped by $0.03 per Lb. 6063 Extrusions and 6063 Extrusions/Fe declined by $0.03 per Lb over the previous day.

The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe remained flat over the previous day. , Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices went down by $0.02 and $0.01 per Lb respectively. Aluminum Transformer and Breakage 50% Recovery prices too dropped by $0.01 per Lb each on Nov 24th.

Chrome Wheels and MLC Clips prices dropped by $0.02 per Lb.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices too slipped by $0.02 per Lb.

The prices of Litho Sheets witnessed decline of $0.02 per Lb.

Old Sheet, Old Cast and Painted Sliding prices declined by $0.02 per Lb each.

Mixed Aluminum Turnings, Zorba 90% NF and UBC prices too saw cut of $0.02 per Lb over the previous day.

A major green hydrogen project in South Africa has taken another key step forward. Hive Hydrogen South Africa announced on September 15 that it has formally awarded the front-end engineering design (FEED) contract for its approximately USD 5.8 billion green hydrogen and green ammonia project to Spanish engineering firm Técnicas Reunidas. The project, now in the late development stage, is regarded as a flagship green hydrogen initiative in South Africa and one of the key demonstration projects under the European Union’s Global Gateway programme in the country.
