SHFE Copper Touches an Intra-Day High at RMB 34,080/mt (Nov. 24, 2015)

SHFE 1601 copper started Monday night session at RMB 33,590/mt and then refreshed a low at RMB 33,220/mt.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 24 (SMM) – SHFE 1601 copper started Monday night session at RMB 33,590/mt and then refreshed a low at RMB 33,220/mt with closing price down RMB 400/mt at RMB 33,640/mt. Positions were up 3,442 to 308,456 and trading volumes were around 385,000 lots. SHFE 1602 copper still faces selling pressure.

SHFE 1601 copper advanced to RMB 34,080/mt during Tuesday trading session due to short-covering and closed at RMB 33,850/mt, off RMB 190/mt or 0.56%. Positions reduced 25,184 and trading volumes came at 958,000 lots.
