SHANGHAI, Oct. 22 (SMM) – China saw refined lead production at 313,600 tonnes in September, down 1.55% MoM, data from China National Bureau of Statistics revealed.
Operating arte at primary lead smelters came at 61.81% in September, dropping 3.45 percentage points from August. This was mainly because Jiyuan Wanyang Smelting Group cut production to 400 tonnes/day due to shortage of crude lead.
Production fell to half at Haicheng Chengxin Nonferrous Metal and Inner Mongolia Xingan Silver Lead Smelting. Huludao Zinc Industry printed no output because of Beijing’s parade and maintenance.
