Sellers in east China spot aluminum market became less anxious to move goods on Monday as SHFE aluminum stabilized around RMB 11,200/mt mark.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 19 (SMM) – Sellers in east China spot aluminum market became less anxious to move goods on Monday as SHFE aluminum stabilized around RMB 11,200/mt mark. Poor buying downstream caused prices to continue falling, but at slower pace. Prices were mainly between RMB 11,120-11,140/mt in Shanghai, discount of RMB 100-80/mt over SHFE 1511 aluminum, versus RMB 11,110-11,140/mt in Wuxi, and RMB 11,120-11,130/mt in Hangzhou.
