Downstream buyers in east China spot aluminum market continued stockpiling goods for upcoming week-long holiday.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 24 (SMM) – Downstream buyers in east China spot aluminum market continued stockpiling goods for upcoming week-long holiday. This allowed spot discounts to narrow further to RMB 30-10/mt over SHFE 1510 aluminum. Prices were mainly between RMB 11,750-11,770/mt in Shanghai, versus RMB 11,750-11,770/mt in Wuxi and RMB 11,740-11,750/mt in Hangzhou.
