LME nickel prices opened at USD 10,375/mt last Friday, and moved between USD 10,300-10,400/mt.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 14 (SMM) –LME nickel prices opened at USD 10,375/mt last Friday, and moved between USD 10,300-10,400/mt. During European and US trading session, LME nickel prices fell back to USD 10,215/mt, and closed at USD 10,290/mt, down 0.91%. Trading volumes decreased 4,483 lots to 4,619 lots, and total positions increased 4,297 to 229,923. LME nickel inventories fell 1,710 to 447,972 mt.

LME nickel prices are expected to rise today. SHFE 1601 nickel contract prices will hover between RMB 78,500-80,000/mt today. Spot nickel prices in Shanghai are expected to hold stable between RMB 76,500-78,000/mt.
