SHFE 1511 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,870/mt Thursday evening, then fluctuated between RMB 14,850-14,900/mt and closed at RMB 14,855/mt, down RMB 20/mt or 0.13%.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 11 (SMM) – SHFE 1511 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,870/mt Thursday evening, then fluctuated between RMB 14,850-14,900/mt and closed at RMB 14,855/mt, down RMB 20/mt or 0.13%. Trading volumes were up 16,754 to 55,382 lots, and total positions increased 3,052 to 130,000.

SHFE 1511 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,855/mt Friday, and rose to RMB 14,900/mt. As the Shanghai Composite Index gained ground, SHFE 1511 zinc contract prices closed at RMB 14,935/mt, up RMB 60/mt or 0.40%. Trading volumes increased 23,094 to 121,000 lots, and total positions grew 6,776 to 134,000.
