Yunnan Zhenxing Industry Group put 100,000 tonnes of crude lead project into operation recently, SMM understands.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 7 (SMM) - Yunnan Zhenxing Industry Group put 100,000 tonnes of crude lead project into operation recently, SMM understands.

The project employs advanced crude lead smelting technology and mainly uses lead ore as raw materials currently. But with the advancement of technology, the project will make use of various raw materials to ensure low energy consumption and high efficiency.

The old 80,000-tonne capacity of crude lead was closed. Refined lead capacity is left unchanged and refined lead production is expected to be 3,000 tonnes in August.
