Australia replaced South Africa as China’s top manganese ore supplier in July.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 2 (SMM) –Australia replaced South Africa as China’s top manganese ore supplier in July.

China imported 594,294 tonnes of manganese ore from Australia in July, followed by 430,347 tonnes from South Africa, customs data showed. 

China imported 1.36 million tonnes of manganese ore in July, up from 1.33 million tonnes in June.
