Lead-acid battery producers saw operating rate fall 2.08 percentage points MoM in July, SMM survey revealed.
SHANGHAI, Aug. 14 (SMM) – Lead-acid battery producers saw operating rate fall 2.08 percentage points MoM in July, SMM survey revealed.
Combined operating rate at China’s 53 large and mid-sized lead-acid battery makers totaled 66.25% in July, down 5.08 percentage points from 71.33% in July 2014.
The rate at backup battery makers posted a modest rise but both motive and automobile battery producers saw the rate extend declines since April 2015.
