[Ni Price]SHFE Nickel Prices Trade up by 1.64% (Aug. 11, 2015)

SHANGHAI, Aug. 11 (SMM) – SHFE nickel started at RMB 82,910/mt on Monday evening and then soared to RMB 83,700/mt before ending at RMB 83,470/mt.

The contract opened Tuesday trading session at RMB 83,520/mt and later started to drop to roll back evening session’s gains in response to a fall in LME nickel prices. The price closed the session at RMB 82,370/mt, gaining 1.64%. Trading volumes increased 177,000 to 515,000 lots but positions decreased 15,822 to 124,000.
