[Zn Price] Die-Cast Zinc Alloy Prices Fell as Zinc Weakened

Die-cast zinc alloy prices dropped in tandem with zinc prices last week, SMM reports.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 3 (SMM) - Die-cast zinc alloy prices dropped in tandem with zinc prices last week, SMM reports.

The average prices for Zamark #3 and Zamark #5 were down 320 yuan to 15,800-16,150 yuan per tonne and 16,100-16,450 yuan per tonne, respectively, SMM data show.

Die-cast zinc alloy producers are unwilling to purchase raw materials due to suspensions for the summer heat and sluggish export orders.
