Main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange advance further to 830 points

The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities advanced further on Tuesday on higher capesize, panamax and supramax rates.

LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities advanced further on Tuesday on higher capesize, panamax and supramax rates.

The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, up by another 15 points to 830 points on Tuesday.

The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
