SHFE 1507 tin contract touched an intraday low of RMB 115,020/mt on Wednesday.
SHANGHAI, Jun. 3 (SMM) – SHFE 1507 tin contract touched an intraday low of RMB 115,020/mt on Wednesday. The contract ended the day down RMB 840/mt or 0.72% at RMB 115,680/mt. Trading volumes were down 574 lots to 3,306 lots, and positions were down 152 lots to 5,472 lots. Worries over falling demand in China overshadowed a weaker US dollar, sending prices down. The contract is expected to test support at RMB 115,000/mt in the near term.
