Johnson Controls Plans to Expand Lead-Acid Battery Capacity in China

The US-based company Johnson Controls announced the plan to increase its battery manufacturing capacity in China in its report for the second quarter of fiscal 2015.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 28 (SMM) – The US-based company Johnson Controls announced the plan to increase its battery manufacturing capacity in China in its report for the second quarter of fiscal 2015.

The company said it would increase AGM lead-acid battery capacity in China to 6.4 million units per year from 1.8 million units. Traditional lead acid battery capacity is expected to expand to 15.5 million units per year from 12.5 million units.
