SHFE Zinc Prices Finish with Gains (Apr. 9, 2015)

SHFE 1506 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 16,190/mt Wednesday evening, then hovered around RMB 16,220/mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 9 (SMM) – SHFE 1506 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 16,190/mt Wednesday evening, then hovered around RMB 16,220/mt, but fell to RMB 16,160-16,200/mt later and closed the day at RMB 16,185/mt, down RMB 40/mt or 0.25%.

SHFE 1506 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 16,175/mt on Thursday, and inched lower to RMB 16,105/mt as a growing number of longs withdrew, and closed at RMB 16,165/mt, down RMB 60/mt or 0.37%. Trading volumes decreased 34,506 to 83,652 lots, and total positions fell 3,846 to 124,388. SHFE 1506 zinc contract prices are expected to remain steady in the near term.

CME Group: Approved Changes in Gold, Gold (Enhanced Delivery), and Silver Storage Rates for Delaware Depository

Delaware Depository, a COMEX/NYMEX Depository for the storage and delivery of gold, gold (enhanced delivery), silver, platinum, and palladium deliverable against the Exchange’s respective futures contracts, will implement new rates in connection with Storage of Gold, Gold (Enhanced Delivery), and Silver at its facilities located in Delaware. The new rates reflect the maximum amounts of fees that can be charged and will be effective July 1, 2026.
