The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities advanced further on Monday, propelled by higher rates across all vessel segments.

LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities advanced further on Monday, propelled by higher rates across all vessel segments.
 
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, up by another 3 points to 594 points on Monday.
 
The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
