Feng Hsin holds rebar and section prices; buy scrap prices decline

Major Taiwanese long steel product manufacturer-Feng Hsin Iron and Steel Co. has decided to leave its rebar prices for the week commencing February 9th, 2015 unchanged.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): Major Taiwanese long steel product manufacturer-Feng Hsin Iron and Steel Co. has decided to leave its rebar prices for the week commencing February 9th, 2015 unchanged. Also, the prices of section steel too will remain flat during the week. However, the company has announced a cut of NT$300 per ton on scrap purchasing prices.

According to company press release by Feng Hsin, the list prices for rebar will continue to remain at NT$ 15,400 per ton, unchanged from the previous week. The price for section steel during the week will be in the range NT$ 18,100 per ton to NT$ 18,600 per ton, holding steady when compared with the previous week prices.

The scrap purchasing prices have been lowered by NT$ 300 per ton for the week. The scrap buy prices for the week will be in the range between NT$ 7,600 to NT$ 8,500 per ton.

Feng Hsin Iron & Steel Co., Ltd is a Taiwanese company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and distribution of iron and steel products.
