SHANGHAI, Nov. 27 (SMM) – Output of stainless steel in China is expected to grow by around 8% in 2015, one senior analyst said at 2014 SMM China Metals Summit on Nov. 23-24 in Shanghai.
“An 8% increase in stainless steel production seems reasonable due to slim profits and sensitivity to nickel prices in the industry,” Yao Qizhong, senior analyst from Baosteel Stainless Steel Co., said at the summit.
