SHANGHAI, Aug. 5 (SMM) – Sellers in south China asked for higher prices after SHFE 1408 aluminum contract rose above RMB 14,000/mt on Tuesday. However, rising prices gave sellers incentive to move goods, adding to oversupply pressure. This forced some to cut offers later in the day. Most deals closed between RMB 14,180-14,230/mt.
