SHFE 1408 aluminum contract opened lower on Wednesday, souring sentiment in south China aluminum market.

SHANGHAI, Jul. 30 (SMM) – SHFE 1408 aluminum contract opened lower on Wednesday, souring sentiment in south China aluminum market. This was exacerbated by tightening cash at the month’s end, sending mainstream traded prices down RMB 110/mt to RMB 14,080-14,090/mt.
