Taiwan's HMS 1/2 80:20 containerized scrap import prices remain stable at $348 a ton

The prices for containerized Taiwanese imports of HMS # 1&2 80:20 remained stable in the week ended July 25th at $348 a ton, said TSI.
 

TAIPEI (Scrap Register): The prices for containerized Taiwanese imports of HMS # 1&2 80:20 remained stable in the week ended July 25th at $348 a ton, said TSI.

Continuing the trend of recent weeks, trading activity was low with very few transactions heard concluded.

Low finished steel demand, electricity restrictions and annual servicing of mill equipment has meant that mills have very little appetite for ferrous scrap at present.
