Garmco to Invest for new aluminium casting facility

MANAMA (Scrap Monster): Gulf Aluminium Rolling Mill Company (Garmco) of Bahrain is planning to invest US$ 50 million for expanding its production capacity, said the chief executive Graham Bruce.

He added that the annual turnover company would be developing its re-melt and casting facilities and also expanding Alba's potline-6.

He said that plans were finalized, completed the feasibility studies and all required permits.

The new casting infrastructure will produce an extra 120,000 metric tonnes and forms an important part of Garmco's 3-5 years strategic plan.
