Scrap Gold and Silver prices decline, Platinum jumps

The daily scrap gold and silver prices - both hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Tuesday, 17th June on the ScrapMonster Price Index.

ALBANY (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold and silver prices - both hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Tuesday, 17th June on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of Platinum scrap climbed higher on Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 9.78 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 12.55 and $ 15.33 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 6.27 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap went higher by $ 2.91 per Oz to reach $ 1,050.66 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $16.09 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.10 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 9.26 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 11.87 and $ 14.50 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 5.94 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices moved higher by $ 2.91 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a marginal fall of $ 0.09 per Oz.
