Sacred Sun Enters into Technical Assistance Agreement with Furukawa Battery

Shandong Sacred Sun Power Sources Co. entered into agreement with Japan-based Furukawa Battery Co. on June 10 to use the latter’s technology for lead-acid battery production in China.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 13 (SMM) – Shandong Sacred Sun Power Sources Co. entered into agreement with Japan-based Furukawa Battery Co. on June 10 to use the latter’s technology for lead-acid battery production in China, it told Shenzhen Stock Exchange today.

Sacred Sun is authorized to use Furukawa Battery’s lead-carbon battery technology to produce lead-acid batteries with large capacity and long service life in China for five years, the company said.

Furukawa Battery, located in Japan’s Yokohama, is specialized in R&D and production of lead-acid battery, alkaline battery, lithium battery, and power sources.
