Shaanxi Zinc Industry Co. is expected to bring up its zinc smelting capacity to 200,000 tpy in late August after upgrading its old two production lines, hexun.com reported today.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 13 (SMM) – Shaanxi Zinc Industry Co. is expected to bring up its zinc smelting capacity to 200,000 tpy in late August after upgrading its old two production lines, hexun.com reported today.

The company, with capacity around 150,000 tpy (actual number is around 180,000 tpy), began its renovation work at the two units from late May. Monthly output of zinc ingot is expected to fall from 15,000 tonnes to 11,000-12,000 tonnes during June to August, it added.
