The SHFE front-month aluminum contract rallied sharply during the afternoon trading hours on Friday.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 6 (SMM) – The SHFE front-month aluminum contract rallied sharply during the afternoon trading hours on Friday. Physical supply in south China remained tight, and cargo holders moved goods at firm prices. Downstream producers began building stocks ahead of the weekend, with traded prices in the RMB 13,260-13,280/mt range on Friday.
