SHANGHAI, Jun. 4 (SMM) – The Fangchenggang Nickel & Copper Project of Jinchuan Group began to sell refined copper in April, local media reported recently.

Production at its 400,000-tpy copper smelter is progressing smoothly since coming online last October.

The project is expected to include a 600,000-tpy copper smelter, 110,000-tpy nickel plant (measured in Ni content), and deep-processing lines, it added.
