Port of Ganqimaodu in China’s Inner Mongolia imported 103,677 tonnes of copper concentrates from Oyu Tolgoi copper mine in Mongolia as of April 16, local media reported.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 23 (SMM) – Port of Ganqimaodu in China’s Inner Mongolia imported 103,677 tonnes of copper concentrates from Oyu Tolgoi copper mine in Mongolia as of April 16, local media reported.

Average daily shipment to Ganqimaodu port reached 1,165 tonnes, up 117.5% year-on-year, according to the report. 
 
The port, located in Bayan Nur city’s Wulate Middle banner, has received 185,615 tonnes of copper concentrate shipments since its first import on July 9, 2013.
