Yubang Electric Wire & Cable Co. invested a total of 420 million yuan ($68 million) for an optical cable project in China’s Chongqing, local media reported today.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 21 (SMM) –Yubang Electric Wire & Cable Co. invested a total of 420 million yuan ($68 million) for an optical cable project in China’s Chongqing, local media reported today.

The project, located in Longxing Industrial Park of Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing, covers an area of 60,000 square meters, and come online in December, the report said. Annual production value will reach 1.6 billion yuan upon competition, the report added.
