DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Mar. 28 (SMM) – Heyuan city in China’s Guangdong province has received local government approval to build a silicon production base with an annual output value estimated at over 10 billion yuan ($1.6 billion), local media reported today.
The base, which will incorporate a complete industry chain from silica powder production to photovoltaic power generation, is designed to be 100,000 square kilometres in size upon completion, the report said.
China Resources Gas Group has started installing clean energy pipelines for the production base, it said.
