Buying interest in south China’s physical aluminum market cooled down after SHFE 1404 aluminum contract hit a new low of RMB 12,510/mt on Thursday.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 20 (SMM) – Buying interest in south China’s physical aluminum market cooled down after SHFE 1404 aluminum contract hit a new low of RMB 12,510/mt on Thursday. However, demand picked up somewhat after SHFE aluminum rebounded later in the day. Most transactions were between RMB 12,420-12,440/mt.
