Spot aluminum prices in south China followed SHFE 1404 aluminum contract down to RMB 12,470-12,490/mt on Wednesday.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 19 (SMM) – Spot aluminum prices in south China followed SHFE 1404 aluminum contract down to RMB 12,470-12,490/mt on Wednesday. A few suppliers held back goods against falling prices. Downstream producers bought in small amounts after watching from the sidelines for two days, and traders also went bargain hunting.
