Ji En Nickel Near Completion of Nunavik Copper, Nickel Mine in Canada

Ji En Nickel Industry Co. is near completion of Canadian Royalties Ltd.'s Nunavik copper and nickel mine.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 19 (SMM) – Ji En Nickel Industry Co. is near completion of Canadian Royalties Ltd.'s Nunavik copper and nickel mine.

The mine has been put into trial production and 30,000 tonnes of copper concentrates has been sold, Ji En Nickel told Shanghai Stock Exchange today.

The mine’s nickel grade is over 11% and recovery rate reaching 70%, while copper grade and recovery rate over 28% and 80%, respectively, it said.

The designed mining capacity for the Nunavik mine, which is situated in Quebec’s Ungava Peninsula, Canada, is 1.49 million tpy, Ji En Nickel said earlier.
