Spot Aluminum Price Movement in East China (2014-3-5)

Spot aluminum largely traded at RMB 12,830-12,840/mt in Shanghai on Wednesday, RMB 12,810-12,820/mt in Wuxi, and RMB 12,840-12,850/mt in Hangzhou.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 5 (SMM) – Spot aluminum largely traded at RMB 12,830-12,840/mt in Shanghai on Wednesday, RMB 12,810-12,820/mt in Wuxi, and RMB 12,840-12,850/mt in Hangzhou. Spot aluminum prices followed SHFE aluminum prices up, but gained less. Rising prices gave sellers incentive to sell, but buyers generally took a wait-and-see stance.
