SHFE 1403 aluminum contract, which switched to the current-month contract on Tuesday, drifted lower to RMB 13,360/mt before lunchtime.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 18 (SMM) – SHFE 1403 aluminum contract, which switched to the current-month contract on Tuesday, drifted lower to RMB 13,360/mt before lunchtime. Spot aluminum largely traded at RMB 13,180-13,200/mt in Shanghai, RMB 13,150-13,170/mt in Wuxi, and RMB 13,170-13,180/mt in Hangzhou. Sellers were anxious to sell, but falling SHFE aluminum kept buyers cautious about buying.
