China Imports and Exports of Copper and Aluminum in December 2013

SHANGHAI,Jan. 10 -- According to the preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 441,291 mt during December , with YTD imports from January to December at 4,541,825 mt, down 2.3 % YoY. China's imports of scrap copper were 400 kt during December , with YTD imports from January to December at 4.37 million mt, down 10% YoY.

China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were125,180 mt in December , with YTD imports from January to December at 963,124 mt, down 17.7 % YoY. Alumina imports were 350 kt during December , with YTD imports from January to December at3830 kt, down 23.7% YoY. China's imports of scrap aluminum were 250 kt during December , with YTD imports from January to December at 2500 kt,down 3.4% YoY. China's exports of unwrought aluminum were 63,853 mt in December , with YTD exports from January to December at 572,280 mt, down 9.3 % YoY.
