Spot Aluminum Price Movement in South China (2013-11-19)

SHFE 1312 aluminum contract opened lower at RMB 14,275/mt on Tuesday and hovered below the 5-day moving average in morning session.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 19 (SMM) – SHFE 1312 aluminum contract opened lower at RMB 14,275/mt on Tuesday and hovered below the 5-day moving average in morning session. Spot aluminum holders in south China were in a hurry to sell, but traders and downstream producers showed little interest, sending prices down RMB 20/mt to RMB 14,350-14,370/mt.
