Spot Aluminum Price Movement in South China (2013-11-11)

SHFE 1311 aluminum contract hovered near RMB 14,400/mt on Monday.

SHANGHAI, Nov. 11 (SMM) – SHFE 1311 aluminum contract hovered near RMB 14,400/mt on Monday. Suppliers in south China hiked offers at the beginning, but downstream producers refrained from buying at higher prices. This forced cargo holders to cut offers, sending mainstream traded prices in the region down to RMB 14,430-14,450/mt.
