China Imports and Exports of Copper and Aluminum in September 2013

 SHANGHAI,September. 12 -- According to the preliminary data from the General Administration of Customs, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 457,847mt during September , with YTD imports from January to September at 3,258,283 mt, down 10 % YoY. China's imports of scrap copper were 390 kt during September , with YTD imports from January to September at 31.9 million mt, down 10.1% YoY.

China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 106,090 mt in September , with YTD imports from January to September at 651,598 mt, down 30 % YoY. Alumina imports were 450 kt during September , with YTD imports from January to September at2480 kt, down 33.4% YoY. China's imports of scrap aluminum were 230 kt during September , with YTD imports from January to September at 1810 kt,down 6.5% YoY. China's exports of unwrought aluminum were 52,982 mt in September , with YTD exports from January to September at 408,308 mt, down 18.5 % YoY.
