MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : North America's Gold Scrap Price witnessed a down fall on Oct 7th Monday on the Scrap Monster Price Index after the previous day's hike.

Gold Scrap Prices in both the Hallmarked and Non-Hallmarked Category showed negative down move on index today. In the Hallmarked Category, the price of 14 carat gold went down by $ 2.84 per Oz at $ 743.92 per Oz. A drop by $ 3.64 was found in the price of 18 ct gold scrap. 22 ct gold scrap price also declined by 4.44 per Oz, while the price of 9 ct gold scrap price went down by $ 1.82 per Oz. However, Platinum and Silver Scrap Price kept the steady uplift. Platinum Scrap Price went up by $ 9.48 per Oz and Silver Scrap Price went up by 0.1 per Oz on Oct 7th.

In the Non-Hallmarked Gold Scrap category, 14 ct Gold Scrap Price declined by $ 2.68 per Oz and 18 ct price declined by $ 3.44 per Oz. The price of 22 ct Gold Scrap too decreased by $ 4.2 per Oz. A decline by $ 1.72 per Oz was reported in the price of 9 ct Gold Scrap. Meantime, Platinum scrap price saw a positive hike by $ 9.48 per Oz at $ 1010.56 per Oz. Silver Scrap price also went up marginally by $ 0.09 per Oz.
