China Xinfa's H1 Profit Jumps 154% on Increased Sales of Construction Aluminium Profiles

China's Xinfa Aluminium Holdings Ltd. reported a 154% jump in first half profit on increased sales of aluminium profiles for construction use.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 18 (SMM) – China's Xinfa Aluminium Holdings Ltd. reported a 154% year-on-year jump in first half profit on increased sales of aluminium profiles for construction use.

The leading aluminium profile manufacturer’s net profit was 47 million yuan ($50.8 million) or 0.11 yuan per sharein the first six months, Xinfa told Hong Kong Stock Exchange today.

The company’s production capacity of aluminium profiles will reach 230,000 tpy following completion of three new plants in Sichuan’s Chengdu, Jiangxi’s Yichun and Henan’s Qinyang, it said in its interim report. It aims to extend market coverage from south-east China to southwest China as well with the expansion, it added.

Xinfa is the largest provider of electricity-conductive aluminium profiles for metro vehicles in China.
