Brass scrap prices in North America seen riding high

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster) : The North American Brass/Bronze scrap prices maintained upward trend on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on August 8th  Thursday.

70/30 Brass Scrap prices went higher by $ 0.02 per Lb registering a daily variation of 0.85%. The price of 80/20 Brass Scrap also climbed higher by $0.02 per Lb . 85/15 Brass Scrap too registered an up move of $0.02 per Lb, which translates to a rise of 0.73% over the previous day.

 The price of Brass Radiator also inched higher by $ 0.02 per Lb to touch $2.17 per Lb.

Brass Radiator/Fe saw an increase of $ 0.01 per Lb.

Brass Radiator Ends prices remained steady at $0.79 per Lb.

The prices of Red Brass moved higher by  $0.02 per Lb. Red Borings prices increased by $0.02. Yellow Brass prices too witnessed a rise of $0.02 per Lb.

On month-over-month comparison, the Brass Scrap prices mostly moved higher except those of Brass Radiator Ends and Red Borings. The one-month price variation for various Brass Scraps is as follows: 70/30 Brass Scrap (+2.16%), 80/20 Brass Scrap (1.97%), 85/15 Brass Scrap (+1.85%), Brass Radiator (+1.40%), Brass Radiator/Fe (+1.73%), Brass Radiator Ends (-1.25%), Red Brass (0.43%), Red Borings (-0.46%), Yellow Brass (+0.93%).
